About the Event
Tiny Picasso's is a Pandemic Portfolio 2 workshop for pre school age children and their extended families, wherever they may be.
Join us at Sandalwood Family Centre for their Monday morning intergenerational playgroup session between 10am and 12noon.
Between 10.30 and 11.30am we will be welcoming your family on videocall, wherever they may be. While everyone gets to meet and chat, our Tiny Picassos will create a portrait of their special people far away.
This workshop is specially designed for children of the pandemic who may not have met their families yet, or who have had limited contact in person. Everyone is welcome. Grandparents may join with their grandchildren from far away and grandchildren may join with their grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins, or other family and special people from far away.
Please register if you are attending at Sandalwood Family Centre to help with planning.
Please ALSO REGISTER if you are attending from outside Kalgoorlie, interstate, or international to receive the zoom link and password to join the call. We encourage those online to create an artwork during the call too, so please have paper, pencils, paint or your favourite artwork medium ready for the call.
ALL ages are welcome.
Thank you to Workshop Sponsor Sandalwood Family Centre.
Many thanks to Parenting Connections WA, and the Parenting Capacity Fund for supporting this series of workshops that will act as a tool to open discussion between parents and children about pandemic life. Artworks and quotes produced will be displayed online and at public exhibitions. Activities will run throughout 2022.
